Private Equity Firm Trilantic Capital Partners Selects the Votacall Cloud Phone System for Increased Reliability, Productivity and Support

BOSTON, Dec. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Trilantic Capital Partners is a private equity firm with approximately $9.1 billion in capital commitments under management. The firm focuses on control and significant majority investments in North America, and specifically targets investments in the business services, consumer, and energy sectors.

Trilantic Capital Partners had a relationship with a hosted VoIP solution provider that never met their overall customer experience and support expectations, but it was not until the private equity firm experienced extended downtime due to inclement weather that they realized it was time for a change.

Following an RFP process that involved a thorough definition of requirements and the vetting of multiple vendors, Trilantic Capital Partners selected Boston-based Cloud UCaaS provider Votacall.

“(We) performed due diligence on several other companies and Votacall seemed the most flexible, the most modern and seemed to have strong customer service,” said Sushene Swenson, TCP’s Director of Management Company Operations. “Since moving to the Votacall cloud phone system, customer service has been great. Senior points of contact are a mere phone call or email away and always respond immediately.”

Reliability was also a key factor in TCP’s decision making. Both Swenson and Alex Abril (Technology Manager) described phone service as part of the “life-blood” of the firm’s business with their clients expecting always on availability.

“We at Votacall are proud of the relationship we have built with Trilantic Capital Partners because it is based on customer experience as much as it is functionality,” said Andy DeAngelis, Chief Operating Officer, Votacall. “Our differentiator in the crowded Cloud PBX space is our desire and ability to deliver an enhanced customer experience where every customer feels like the only customer. If we accomplish that, then we have done our job as a managed VoIP provider.”

Since the implementation, TCP has grown in headcount and has even opened another location in Austin, TX in addition to its primary headquarters in New York City.
