Armenian team one of Eurasia Mobile Challenge winners
YEREVAN, January 27. /ARKA/. Beeline Armenia named Thursday the winners of Eurasia Mobile Challenge contest held in Yerevan.
The company says in its news release that the three companies that have won the regional final will take part in Mobile World Challenge 2017, which will be held on February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona as part of the Mobile World Congress.
ConfBot team from Russia was the best in the regional contest – it picked up $20,000 as prize, Armenia’s Earlyone came second in the contest ($15,000) and Georgia’s Treepex third ($10,000).
“We are happy that we have managed to host all who wanted in the Eurasia Mobile Challenge final in Armenia,” ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin is quoted in the press release. “I am happy that there is also our Armenian team among the winners, the team that displayed а bold, creative and professional approach. This victory is very important to us. ”
The Eurasia Mobile Challenge contest was launched in July by VimpelCom Company as part of "Make your Mark" strategic project.
Representatives form Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine competed for victory.
Three Armenian teams - Earlyone, Terreva and Certifire – have won the local round of the contest.
